A little about me: Originally from South Florida, I moved to North Carolina for school and have been here ever since. I have a deep love for nature and the outdoors, spending my time hiking, paddle boarding, and practicing yoga. I also enjoy gardening and caring for my houseplants. And of course, my dog Baxter keeps me company along the way.
Specialities and ages I like to work with include: Addiction, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Trauma, PTSD, Self Esteem, Women’s Issues, Ages 15 and up
How I describe myself as a therapist:
- Warm – Exudes kindness and genuine care, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Intuitive – Uses deep understanding and insight to guide the process, often sensing unspoken emotions.
- Patient – Takes time to let clients progress at their own pace without pressure.
Experience: I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Appalachian State University. During my graduate training, I completed my internship in community mental health, where I had the opportunity to work with individuals and groups from all walks of life.
Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Self-Pay
What type of light my energy represents: Firelight: Fierce, dynamic, and transformative.
My Go To Karaoke Song: Africa by Toto
Fun Fact: If I hadn’t become a therapist, I probably would have pursued a career in HR. I enjoy problem-solving, supporting others, and creating systems that help people thrive, which align with both fields in different ways.
