A little about me: Hi! My name is Angela. I am originally from Charlotte, NC. I love being outside and being active. I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Specialties and ages I like to work with include: Anxiety, ADHD, Behavioral Issues, Depression, Mood Disorders, Trauma, PTSD, Self Esteem, Women’s Issues. Typically, I work with ages 8 and up.
How I describe myself as a therapist:
- I have always wanted to help people as a kid but didn’t know what field I wanted to study. I didn’t realize this is what I was meant to do until I was already in it, that’s what keeps me motivated.
- One of my favorite things about this work is my teenage clients telling me they feel seen and heard.
Experience: I went to University of Southern California for grad school and UNC Charlotte for undergrad. I have worked in private practice most recently and have a background in helping incarcerated mothers reunite with their children.
