Company Role: Therapist (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate)

A little about me: After spending nearly 20 years in Western North Carolina, I moved back to Charlotte in 2025. Outside of work, I enjoy running, traveling, discovering new restaurants and music, and spending time with friends and family. I love cooking, listening to records, and exploring new places, whether that’s a new city or a local spot in Charlotte. I’m happiest when I’m enjoying good food, good music, and good company.

Specialties and ages I like to work with include: Anxiety, ADHD, Behavioral Issues, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Self-Esteem. I typically work with ages 13 and up.

How I describe myself as a therapist:

  • Inviting – Creates a welcoming, comfortable space where clients feel at ease being themselves and sharing openly.
  • Authentic – Brings a genuine, down-to-earth presence to the therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to feel seen and understood.
  • Direct – Communicates honestly and clearly while helping clients identify challenges and work toward meaningful change.
  • Collaborative – Works alongside clients to develop goals and strategies that reflect their individual needs, strengths, and values.
  • Grounded – Provides a calm, steady presence that helps clients feel supported when navigating difficult emotions and experiences.
  • Authentic – Brings a genuine, down-to-earth presence to the therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to feel seen and understood.

Experience: I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and later received my M.A.Ed. in School Counseling from Western Carolina University. My graduate training took place in school settings, and I have since gained experience working in integrated care across school-based and residential settings, providing individual, group, and family therapy.

Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Self-Pay

What type of light my energy represents: Candlelight – warm, comforting, relaxing.

My Go To Karaoke Song: The thought of doing Karaoke makes me nervouse, but I’d chose “Peaches” by The Presidents of the United States of America.

Fun Fact:If I hadn’t found my way to therapy, I think I would have loved being a small business owner.
