How I describe myself as a therapist: As your therapist, my number one goal is to allow the space to feel like all the identities you hold are safe, honored, respected, and celebrated. There are so many facets of life that go into having a healthy mind, which is why I find it vital to have a holistic approach when trying to get to the root(s) of healing & growth. My approach as a therapist is to create a tailored experience to the clients’ specific needs, utilizing a variety of modalities to support goal achievement, empowerment, autonomy, and learning. It is a priority of mine to work through a harm reduction lens that offers curiosity and accountability. I am simply here as a professional guide in your journey towards a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.

Experience: I received my bachelor’s degree at Bridgewater College in VA and my master’s degree in counseling with a trauma certification at Arcadia University in PA. My most recent clinical work was at a Methadone clinic supporting pregnant, female clients in their recovery. I have clinical experience working in outpatient as well as in-patient treatment. In these settings, I provided individual therapy, group therapy, connecting clients with community resources/case management work, and psychoeducation on topics such as human sexuality & the intersection with addiction, managing anger & other complex emotions, boundaries/healthy relationship dynamics, and body image.

My Go To Karaoke Song: I am not a singer, but when I am doing karaoke against my will, my go to song would probably be something from Fergie.

Fun Fact: If I hadn’t become a therapist, I would have pursued a career in design or fashion.
